WELCOME to Hordatun Hotel in RØLDAL – ODDA

Winter Røldal; known as a Powder Paradise with “The deepest snow in Europe”.
The lifts are open from November to May, and the summit hike season for skiing is for the most ardent available year around.

Summer Røldal; an excellent base for several of Norway’s most famous mountain hikes.
You reach the Pulpit Rock, Trolltunga and Hardangervidda on day trips.
The Røldal area also has numerous hiking trails in different terrain (July-September depending on the year’s snowfall), you will amongst others find 50 mountain peaks above 1000m in the mountains surrounding the village.

Røldal stave church is one of the few of the 28 stave churches still standing in Norway that is in regular use by the local congregation and well worth a visit.

Hordatun and Røldal ensure a relaxed atmosphere in the room or in the apartment, in front of the the fireplace in the bar or in our cosy restaurant.

The hotel is situated between the village centre of Røldal and Røldal ski center and has a great view over the lake Røldalsvatnet.
